How it Works:

Gate valves, or Wedge gate valves, are multiturn valves with a linear motion obturator (wedge). They are mostly used to block fluids (on/off function).

These valves are widely used in the industrial field and in water distribution networks, but also in heating and ventilation systems. They are highly reliable and easy to operate on small sections of pipes as well as on very large diameter pipework.
